Fudge
Today I am making fudge, sounds good right? Well a lot of what goes into it, I cant have on the 'eating for your blood type' diet.
Lets break down what goes in making this fudge,
Sugar
Evap milk
butter/margarine
salt
marshmallow
chocolate morsels
vanilla extract
Of that list of ingredients I can not have the following:
Marshmallows (they have gelatin in it, and that is a by product of meat)
Sugar (this is on the neutral list)
Evap milk (Dairy and I can only have limited dairy)
butter/margarine (I used margarine - this is made of veggie oil - so this is ok)
salt (this is on the neutral list)
chocolate morsels (chocolate is on the neutral list-but I am not so sure)
vanilla extract (this is on the neutral list)
Per what the recipe says here are the nutritional facts on the fudge:
Servings: 2 pieces per serving
calories: 140
calories from fat: 40
worth it....or not?
